Q: Is there a rain date?
A: No, the festival is held rain or shine!
Q: What kinds of foods are available?
A: It varies year to year, but in addition to our Hale Farm & Village fare, we will also have a variety of vendors serving local foods and snacks such as ice cream, salads, bakery, sandwiches and kettle corn! We also have beer and wine available. Come on out and enjoy Hale Farm and the wonderful art from the state of Ohio.
Q: Are dogs permitted?
A: Hale Farm permits only service dogs on their site.
Q: Will there be any entertainment?
A: Hale Farm and Village has costumed historians in each of the homes explaining the history of the buildings and the area. There are also demonstrations of period arts and crafts such as pottery, glass blowing, spinning and weaving, candle making, blacksmithing and broom making.
Q: What all is available to see at Hale Farm & Village?
A: 34 historic buildings, animals (pigs, sheep, oxen, chickens), historic gardens, demonstrations such as glassblowing, spinning, weaving, pottery and candlemaking. Admission to the festival includes all of Hale Farm & Village and the art and craft festival. Bring the family! Spend the day immersed in history!
